Public Art work experience

The London Brian Project, London
Art Director, May 2014-Current
The London Brain Project (LBP) is a collective of 4, 3 neuroscientists and 1 artist, founded in July 2013. LBP is committed to linking art and science through workshops, exhibitions and educational engagement. Generating an art collection on themes of Brain Disorder or by people who live with brain related issues. Recent exhibition Beyond Seizures exploring Epilepsy, Beyond Tics exploring Tourette,  currently working on Beyond Memory a workshop focused around altzheimers/dimentia.


Public Art for Public School, School Construction Authority, Long Island City New York
Associate Arts Program Manager, August 2007-August 2009

Full time employee of the School Construction Authority. Art administrator in charge of over 37 permanent public art commissions being created for NYC Public Schools. Daily responsibilities included facilitating communication between architects, artists, engineers, community, construction workers and the Department of Cultural Affairs Percent for Art administrators, researching safe and to code materials, and managing budgets. Recruiting artists and managing the Sites for Students program, employing artist to collaborate on public works with students. Additionally aided in conservation inventory trips, and worked on academic research for Michele Cohen’s book a history of Public Art for Public Schools.
